Jan 20 212. The Army released suicide data for the month of Dec and calendar year 2011. During Dec there were 11 potential suicides; two have been confirmed  and nine remain under investigation. For Nov the Army reported eight potential suicides and five confirmed as suicide for  total of 13. For the year 2011 there were 114 potential suicides, with 102 confirmed and 12 remain under investigation
  

Veterans & active duty to march on White House in support of Ron Paul. Jan 16
      A group of Veterans and active duty soldiers are set to march to the White House in February to show their support for Ron Paul and to turn their backs on the current puppet in chief, Barack Obama. The group, Veterans for Ron Paul 2012, was founded by longtime Libertarian activist Adam Kokesh, will lead a formation of veterans and active duty troops who support Ron Paul's candidacy for President. from the Washington Monument tot he White House. Upon arrival at the White house, they will do about face to turn their backs. and render a hand salute to a folded  American flag surrounded by family members of military personnel and veterans/ They will hold the salute for as many seconds as troops have died under the Presidency of Obama.
   The purpose of this event is ti make clear to the American people that Ron Paul is the choice of the troops and the candidate who will have the greatest support from these he would lead as commander-in-chief.This is already evidence by the fact that Ron Paul has received more campaign contributions for active duty service members than all other presidential candidates combined, including Barrack Obama.

                  Army Chaplin Convicted in Internal Sex Case (Jan 16
Lt Col. Keith A. Jackson became the latest soldier to be convicted of sexually exploiting a child. Over a  seven-month period Jackson 46, a married father of two, used the internet to send hundreds of obscenity texts and about a seven hours if graphic of video of himself to what prosecutors said he believed to be 14 year old girl.
  In 2011, the army tried 40 soldiers for child pornography, with 37 convicted and three acquitted. In addition, 26 soldiers were court-martial for charges related to indecent acts, liberties or language with a child under 16, with 22 convicted and four acquitted. This does not take in a count of ones tried in civilian court
At Fort Leonard Wood where Jackson was stationed, at least eight soldiers, a marine and a civilian employee  have been charged since December 2008, with either producing, possessing or distributing child pronography or indecent conduct with a child.
  Jackson faces 20 charges and 47 year's  confinement for his internet exchanges with a person using the screen name strawb3rry_babi whom he first came across in Yahoo chat room in 2010. The prosecutor stated in court that Jackson was a wolf in sheep clothing . The cloak has been removed and we can see that Col. Jackson like make believe that he is having  sex with 14 year old girls
  After listening to testimony over two day, Col. Jeff Nance the military judge found Jackson guilty of 18 counts. the sentence is yet to come. But in the end the judge order Jackson dismissed from the service, the officer equivalent of a dishonorable discharge. The sentence still must be approved by the forts; commanding general, who could lessen the sentence. Should the sentence stand, Jackson won't be able to vote or own a gun, and prosecutors estimate he''ll forfeit about $1.5 million in retirement benefits. He will serve no further confinement but he will have to register as a sex offender

 


                           What is Faith to  A Combat Soldier? Dec 29 2011

As we end the year 2011, the question my be ask "What is faith to a combat soldier?"
For service members deployed to a combat zone take on a whole new meaning. For our armed forces, the tragedies of war are apparent on a daily basis and often requires a reserve mental, moral and physical strength that can only be found in a person's faith in God.
 The understanding of the importance of faith is one reason the US military takes such great steps to promote resilience within ranks. What ever it is the Soldier, Marine, Airmen or Sailor holds faith in, that faith will sustain them in the challenges they will face
 1st Lt Robert Mahua (said) "faith is something we believe, something abstract, something you can't hold with your hands or see with your eyes."
 Lt. Cmdr. James Gennaris (Said) "Faith is the ability to believe, know, and trust is higher power greater than me, which is helping me stick to the principles That I believe in."
 Chaplain Cmdr Christ Fronk naturally had a slightly more specific view of faith: He (said). "Faith to me, in its basic format, is the belief in a God and something great than ourselves. Faith is my whole purpose for being here. As long as we're going to ask people to go to distant places to fight, it's crucial for them to have chaplains to help remind them of their faith, to help them grow in their faith, and help them to prepare for meeting their marker, should this happen."
 Faith is an important part of the comprehensive fitness of every military member, and the chaplaincy is a vital means to supporting the troops in their faiths; Faith sustains and strengthens many service members through stressful and difficult times on deployment. With the help of the Chaplain Corps, these service members are able to practice their faith in the remote patrol bases throughout the battle space
 As we start the New Year of 201, lets us pray that the chaplains and the men and women of our armed Forces faith increases and by that faith, they all return home safe and sound




    Air Force dumped, partial remains of 247 troops in a landfill  Virginia
 
The Air Force dumped the cremated , partial remains of a least 274 troops in a landfill before halting the secretive practice in 2008. The procedure was never formally authorized or disclosed  to senior Pentagon officials, who conducted an interview of the cremation policies of Dover Air Base- the main point of entry for US was dead-in 2008, nor was the dumping  ever disclosed to the families of the fallen troops, who had authorized the military to dispose of the remains in a respectful and dignified manner.citing Air Force officials.
  The officials said that a precise count of the remains  disposed of at a Virginia landfill would require searching through the records of  6,300 troops whose remains have passed through Dover since 2001.
   An additional group of 1,762 remains-which could not go a DNA testing because they were badly damaged or burned-were disposed of in this manner  according to the Air Force.
  Last month investigators said they had found "gross mismanagement" at the US Air Force mortuary, with body parts lost and remains mishandled.
  After allegations form whistle-blowers, an Air Force probe found two "portions of the remains' of fallen troops had been lost and uncovered other problems at the morgue. New procedures have been put in place at the mortuary and the commander at the morgue , a colonel, together  with two civilians  officials were disciplined over the episode but not relieve of their positions        


         
                                  
               AIR FORCE DIVORCE RATE HIGHEST IN MILITARY (Jan 3rd 2012)

The divorce rate among airmen today is almost 64% higher than in 2001, and is the highest in the military. A decade ago,when the U.S. invaded Afghanistan, the rate stood at 2.5 divorces per 100 marriages.In 2011, the number jumped to 3.9. The rate has steadily climb in the past decade except in 2005 and in 2008, when it dropped so slightly, according to Air Force statistics. Military divorce rate rises slightly u 2011
  The Defense department report, release  Dec 13 shows the divorce rate military-wide is the highest it's been since 1999, 30,000 marriages ended in divorce by the end of fiscal 2011. Of those 7,534 were in the Air Force. Most of them-6,743- were enlisted airman, for a divorce rate of 4.6%
  Chief Master Sgt, of the Air Force James Roy said that multiple deployments and the stress of two wars have contributed to the Air Force divorces. "Deployment do take atoll on families. What we do is not easy, an separation can be difficult. It can also be a challenge when our Airmen transition home after deployment." said Roy
  According to the Air Force, the service has 15,647 married couples with both serving on active duty, and they are deployed in different places causing a harder stress on both, and ending up in divorce.

 Jan 3 2012 Air Force officials have identified two airman who were killed in an accident on a highway in north Oklahoma City. They were stationed at Tinker AFB Ozzie Owens of South Caroline and 21 year old Steven Spencer of Tennessee died in the single-vehicle crash about 3 a.m. Monday 27 Dec 2011. The Oklahoma City police Capt. Dee Patty saids the vehicle was traveling north on U.S. Highway 77 near interstate 235 when it struck a bridge embankment.Patty said a high speed was a contributing factor in the accident




 


The Supreme Court said yesterday Nov 14 2011 that they would hear a challenge to Obama's health care overhaul,deciding the fate by the summer of 2012, when the race for the White House in in full swing.

                                              Who can use the Veterans Hospital?

The United States Veterans provides over 1,700 health care facilities in the 50 states and U.S. territories,accessible for medical care to veterans who qualify. Some veterans receive preference, especially for treatment of service-related disabilities or illness.Length of service, income level, and Va resources available are other determinants.
  Military Service; You may qualify for VA medical care if you served in active, duty, naval pr air service with honorable discharge. This includes Reservists or National Guard members called for active duty by a federal order who completed the duty.The length of your service in then in the military affects your priority group, along with your present income level. Female veterans have the same benefits as male.
  Income Threshold; Non service-related medical care has income threshold guidelines. Geographic thresholds are by metropolitan statistical areas and depend on the number of dependents the service member has as well. Once you apply for VA health care benefits and complete the income information, Veterans Affairs compares your income statistics with the Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Administration records. VA contacts you for verification of any differences.
  Application: Complete VA form 10-10EZ, the application for health benefits. Online application is available. You can indicate if you want and appointment at the time of the application. Veterans requesting care for s service-connected disability get preference or a higher priority group assignment. A financial assessment considers gross household income, including earned and unearned income. Asset values do not include your homestead, but include other property, stocks , bonds, IRAs, bank account, and cash.
   
                   Rape Charges against a Soldier Update 22 Oct 2011

Pvt kevin Lee Flippin 21 admitted to a charge of robbery and rape, and another charge of Aggravated rape for his actions at a dormitory -style apartment and hotel near Camp Casey on Sept 24.. Prosecutors recommended that Flippin receive 15 years when the verdict and sentence are delivered which is scheduled  for Nov. 1
  Flippin bowed his head and struggled to utter his first words to chief judge Pak-In-sik during testimony. "I was wrong, I know. It's not an excuse," Flippin said before handing the microphone to a Korean translator.Flippin finished his statement by whispering to the court translator, taking full responsibility and said it was hard to imagining he was capable to the acts he committed. He then said he understood that he deserved to be punished.
  He had been drinking Vodka and whiskey with friends before getting separated and wandering the halls of the Jhaeng , according to court testimony At 4 a.m. closed-circuit camera images were shown in court captured Flippin as he tried to open several doors before entering the victim's unlocked door. Flippin then slapped the victim and raped her, multiple times, while threatening her with a knife and a pair of scissors he found in the victim's room. The victim fought back, sustaining injuries to her hand-before being dragged throughout the room and raped repeatedly. At one point, Flippin punched the victim and then burned her breast with a lighter, he told the judge. Flippin remained in the apartment for four hours and upon sobering up, begged for forgiveness. At some point during the night. Flippin also stole the victim's wallet, which contained 5,000 won or about $4, according to testimony.
  Previous reports lasted the girl as 18 because of differences in how Koreans determine ages. The birth date. But in the American age she was 17.
  The prosecutor asked Flippin if he had tried to offer the victim restitution payment and apology, which is customary following crimes in South Korea, Flippin said he tried but was unable to reach her, I'd like to give everything to her, as much as she wants, " Flippin said.Before the trial, about 2o protestors gathered outside the courthouse called for an immediate revision of the status of force agreement, as well as an apology from President Barack Obama for Flippin's actions.

                                            

                                      
A Federal judge indicted an AWOL. soldier Tuesday on three charges in connection with a bomb plot to bomb Fort Hood soldiers in Texas. Pfc Nasser Jason Abdo 21 was indicted in Waco on charges of possession of an unregistered destructive device, possession of a firearm and possession of ammo by a fugitive from justice. He faces up to 10 years in prison on each charge if convicted. He was arrested 2 week ago at a motel near Fort Hood. They found a article titled "Make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom" and ingredients for an explosive device. He was approved as a conscientious objector this year citing his Muslim faith, but was put on hold after being charge with possessing child pornography. He went AWOL from Fort Campbell. after his arrested he shouted Nidal Hasan Fort Hood 2009. He said he planned to make two bombs and detonate them in a restaurant where Fort Hood soldiers eat
 
 
    August 2011 was the most deadly month for our servicemen killed in Afghanistan, with 72. There were 45 suicides for the month of August 2011. In the Marines there were 185 Attempt's of suicide with 23 actually committed suicide. 14 of these were done by gunshot an 5 hung themselves. The average age of these men were 21-25 years of age.In the Army there were 185 attempts of suicide with 32 committing suicide. which 22 were active and 10 Reservists.

 
    Is the year 2012 the day that America will come under Martial Law?
 
Just as a dark cloud usually tells you it is going to rain, when all signs point to something is about to happen, if not corrected it will happen. Last year President Obama without any publicity (that should open your eyes by itself) Signed an Executive Order establishing a "Council of Governors." I called this  a violation  and assault on the United States Constitution. why a violation of the Constitution/ If you will read the Executive Order closely it you will see that it is an attempt to put the National Guard units which are based in individual states. under the control of the federal government. This is in direct violation of the 19 Amendment, which reads.
  "The powers not delegated to the United States  by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States respectively, or to the people." In other words President Obama, the Constitution doesn't give you that right to do this!
  As far as this  un-constitution document being enforced in the case of the of a national emergency, it fails to spell out just what would prompt the enforcement of it provisions, which  in my opinion, and the way I am reading it, a violation of the 14 Amendment  "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States. nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of the law: nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
  The provisions in this Executive Order that outline the synchronization and integration of state and Federal Military activities in the United States is a direct violation pf the Posse Comitatus Act, which reads, "From and after passage of this act it shall bot be lawful to employ any part of the Army of The United States, as a posse comitatus, or otherwise, for the purpose of executing the laws, except in such cases and under such circumstances as such employment of said force may be expressly authorized by the Constitution..."
   Now if all this ( should Obama ever try to enforce this thing) isn't enough to cause a Constitution crisis,how about Obama signing an Executive Order giving law enforcement personnel from foreign countries new police powers within the United States.
   From reading this is seems that Obama is trying to raise his own private army here in America, directly under federal (his) control. Well just like Nancy Pelosi saying that one way or another, health care reform would pass. It seems like the President is going to take whatever steps he needs to have a domestic armed force under his control an disregarding he the U.S. Constitutions
